01 Answer first
When is a water bottling plant site ready for equipment installation?
The site is ready when receiving and lifting routes, protected storage, civil and structural work, permanent or approved temporary utilities, local labor and tools, safety controls, approved documents, materials, interfaces, and decision authority are available with current evidence. A planned delivery date is not readiness evidence.

What this guide covers — and where to go next
Verify the awarded project site can safely receive, store, lift, place and connect equipment with released workfronts, utilities, people and records.
A mobilization gate record listing verified prerequisites, evidence, blocking gaps, interim controls, responsible parties and authorization to start installation.
An early business or RFQ definition check, a substitute for qualified site safety control, or approval of incomplete building and utility design.
02 Where it fits
Position in the project journey
Site mobilization - after approved installation inputs and before equipment arrival, lifting, assembly, connection, or commissioning.
03 Buyer inputs
What the buyer should prepare
- Current site drawings, measurements, access, and construction status
- Receiving, lifting, storage, labor, tools, safety, and local contractor plan
- Utility distribution, temporary-service, inspection, permit, and test readiness
- Named authority for field changes, product status, acceptance, and open actions
04 Allot Tech and manufacturing-resource inputs
What should be clarified or provided
- Equipment delivery sequence, weights, lifting points, preservation, and storage needs
- Installation workpacks, drawings, manuals, connection points, tolerances, and inspection plan
- Specialist mobilization requirements and buyer dependencies
- Mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, deviation, and handover evidence
Allot Tech coordinates requirement, quotation and project communication. Detailed engineering, manufacture, testing, documentation and confirmed service are performed by selected manufacturing resources according to the signed scope.
05 Technical scope
Questions and work to control
Protect the Equipment From Arrival to Installation
Confirm transport access, unloading surface, lifting capacity, receiving inspection, damage evidence, tagged inventory, protected storage, preservation, and controlled release to the work area.
- Match lifting plans to actual package weights and geometry
- Keep loose parts linked to equipment identity
- Define damage notice and mitigation responsibility
Release Civil, Utility, and Interface Work Against Current Data
Foundations, openings, drains, platforms, cable routes, pipes, ventilation, terminals, and access must follow approved revisions and preserve installation, cleaning, guarding, and maintenance clearances.
- Reconcile field measurements with released drawings
- Identify temporary and permanent connections
- Control every field deviation and affected document
Prepare People, Safety, Tools, Materials, and Decisions
Local contractors, supervision, induction, permits, isolation, emergency response, tools, test instruments, consumables, approved materials, and decision authority should be available before specialist time begins.
- Confirm competent roles for each task
- Separate installation materials from commissioning materials
- Define who can accept, reject, change, or stop work

Buyer questions answered
Practical answers before you request a quotation
Is a finished building enough to declare the site ready?
No. Access, storage, utilities, labor, tools, safety, documents, materials, interfaces, and decision authority must also match the approved equipment and work plan.
Can installation start with temporary utilities?
Only when the project-specific plan approves their capacity, quality, protection, safety, ownership, monitoring, and transition to permanent service.
Does a completed installation mean the plant is ready to produce?
No. Mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, product trials, quality release, training, acceptance, and handover are separate controlled gates.
06 Responsibility
Assign the owner before the work is due
Land, building and civil work, permits, import and customs, local taxes, site utilities, unloading, lifting, local labor, travel support and commissioning materials are not automatically included. Confirm every responsibility before order.
07 Common risks
What commonly creates avoidable uncertainty
- Equipment arrives before protected storage or lifting is ready
- Construction uses superseded layout or load data
- Specialists wait for utilities, materials, access, or decisions
- Installation completion is confused with commissioning readiness
08 Acceptance or completion
How to know the stage is complete
Mobilization is released by named authority against current evidence, with every conditional item assigned an owner, due date, consequence, and closure route.
09 Required documents
Records that support the decision
- Site readiness certificate
- Receiving and lifting plan
- Installation workpack and inspection records
- Open-action and mobilization decision log
