Convert Drawings and Packing Lists Into Safe, Ready, Verifiable Site Work

Water Bottling Installation Workpack and Sequencing

An installation workpack defines the equipment, location, prerequisite, method, qualified roles, tools, lifting, materials, interfaces, safety controls, inspections, records, and handoff for a manageable section of site work. The sequence must match access and commissioning priorities.

01 Answer first

What should an installation workpack contain for a water bottling line?

Include system boundary, prerequisites, current drawings, equipment identity and location, qualified roles, lifting and tools, work sequence, safety controls, interface checks, inspection records, field-change route, and handoff criteria.

02 Where it fits

Position in the project journey

Site installation — after receipt and site readiness, before mechanical completion.

03 Buyer inputs

What the buyer should prepare

  • Ready site and local work controls
  • Qualified lifting and installation resources
  • Buyer-side utility and building interfaces

04 Allot Tech and manufacturing-resource inputs

What should be clarified or provided

  • Current installation data and supervision boundary
  • Equipment checks and assembly requirements
  • Technical response to field deviations

Allot Tech coordinates requirement, quotation and project communication. Detailed engineering, manufacture, testing, documentation and confirmed service are performed by selected manufacturing resources according to the signed scope.

05 Technical scope

Questions and work to control

Divide Installation by System and Handoff

Create workpacks around practical boundaries such as treatment, tanks, blow molding, filling, conveyors, packing, utilities, controls, and defined commissioning systems.

Set Verifiable Entry Conditions

Confirm approved drawings, foundations, floors, access, utilities, drains, stored equipment, parts, tools, lifting resources, permits, and local safety readiness.

Reconcile Cases, Tags, and Locations

Link packing lists and receipt records to equipment tags, layout coordinates, orientation, assembly instructions, loose parts, and storage release.

Plan Lifting and Internal Movement

Qualified local parties should confirm routes, floor conditions, devices, rigging, loads, exclusion zones, temporary openings, and weather or lighting constraints.

Sequence Mechanical, Electrical, and Utility Work

Coordinate setting, leveling, anchoring, piping, drains, ducts, cables, controls, guards, platforms, insulation, labels, and cleaning without blocking later access.

Define Installation Checks and Records

Record identity, condition, position, alignment, torque or other specified checks, connections, cleanliness, preservation removal, redlines, photos, and inspector status.

Control Field Changes and Missing Items

Use an approved deviation route for clashes, shortages, damage, drawing differences, substitutions, temporary work, and changes affecting tests or documents.

Hand Completed Systems to Pre-Commissioning

Verify workpack records, punch items, isolation, cleanliness, guards, labels, access, as-built markups, and system boundary before custody transfer.

Buyer questions answered

Practical answers before you request a quotation

Is a layout drawing enough to install the line?

No. Installation also needs prerequisites, assembly data, qualified methods, lifting, interfaces, checks, change control, and records.

Who approves lifting at site?

Qualified local lifting, safety, and structural roles should approve the project-specific plan.

When may a system enter pre-commissioning?

When the approved handoff criteria, records, safety status, interfaces, and open-item controls are satisfied.

06 Responsibility

Assign the owner before the work is due

Land, building and civil work, permits, import and customs, local taxes, site utilities, unloading, lifting, local labor, travel support and commissioning materials are not automatically included. Confirm every responsibility before order.

07 Common risks

What commonly creates avoidable uncertainty

  • Installation sequence blocks later access
  • Loose parts lose tag identity
  • Field changes do not update drawings or tests

08 Acceptance or completion

How to know the stage is complete

Release when prerequisites, method, resources, interfaces, inspections, deviations, and the pre-commissioning handoff are complete and owned.

09 Required documents

Records that support the decision

  • Installation workpack
  • Inspection checklist
  • System handoff certificate
