01 Answer first
What does this project stage need to resolve?
Installation turns the approved layout and interface plan into a connected plant. Work can proceed efficiently when scope, site readiness, resources, and acceptance of completed work are clear.
02 Where it fits
Position in the project journey
Site execution - after receiving and before commissioning.
03 Buyer inputs
What the buyer should prepare
- Site-ready release and equipment access
- Agreed local labor, lifting, tools and safety controls
- Utilities available at confirmed interface points
04 Allot Tech and manufacturing-resource inputs
What should be clarified or provided
- Installation layout, connection information and sequence
- Equipment receiving and condition checks
- Positioning, leveling, mechanical and electrical connection guidance within scope
Allot Tech coordinates requirement, quotation and project communication. Detailed engineering, manufacture, testing, documentation and confirmed service are performed by selected manufacturing resources according to the signed scope.
05 Technical scope
Questions and work to control
Define Installation Responsibilities
The project-specific plan should separate equipment positioning, mechanical assembly, piping, cabling, utility distribution, civil work, lifting, labor, supervision, and third-party connections.
Check Before Energization
Installed equipment should be reviewed for alignment, completeness, access, guards, connections, cleanliness, lubrication, and readiness for controlled startup.
- Approved drawings and installation sequence
- Qualified site resources and safe work coordination
- Recorded completion and outstanding-item status
06 Responsibility
Assign the owner before the work is due
Land, building and civil work, permits, import and customs, local taxes, site utilities, unloading, lifting, local labor, travel support and commissioning materials are not automatically included. Confirm every responsibility before order.
07 Common risks
What commonly creates avoidable uncertainty
- Installation begins against an obsolete layout
- Local piping or cabling responsibilities are assumed rather than assigned
- Commissioning starts before mechanical completion is recorded
08 Acceptance or completion
How to know the stage is complete
Equipment is positioned and connected against approved documents, mechanical completion is recorded, and open installation items are assigned.
09 Required documents
Records that support the decision
- Approved layout
- Installation instructions
- Connection and completion checklist
- Open-item register

Put this stage into your project brief
Share the information already available and mark what is still unknown. Allot Tech can use the same brief to coordinate a project-specific discussion with suitable manufacturing resources.
