01 Answer first
What belongs in a point-of-use utility schedule for bottling equipment?
For every tagged connection, state service type, location, size, required condition and quality, normal and peak demand, startup or cleaning case, isolation, measurement, drain or return, battery limit, and data revision.
02 Where it fits
Position in the project journey
Utility engineering — before distribution sizing, routing, and equipment connection.
03 Buyer inputs
What the buyer should prepare
- Available service conditions
- Local distribution design
- Site testing and isolation ownership
04 Allot Tech and manufacturing-resource inputs
What should be clarified or provided
- Connection-level loads and locations
- Required conditions and operating modes
- Vendor-data revisions
Allot Tech coordinates requirement, quotation and project communication. Detailed engineering, manufacture, testing, documentation and confirmed service are performed by selected manufacturing resources according to the signed scope.
05 Technical scope
Questions and work to control
List Every Utility Connection by Equipment Tag
Include power, controls power, compressed air classes, water services, cooling, heating, drainage, ventilation, data, and other project-specific connections.
Define Conditions at the Battery Limit
State connection size and location, required quality, pressure or voltage condition, temperature, return requirement, tolerance basis, and the responsible supplying party.
Separate Normal, Peak, Startup, and Cleaning Demand
Utilities may behave differently during blow-molder start, tank refill, sanitation, regeneration, simultaneous equipment operation, or controlled restart.
Apply Diversity Only With an Operating Basis
Any non-simultaneous-load assumption should trace to the approved calendar, sequence, control logic, and operating responsibility.
Plan Isolation, Measurement, and Verification
Identify local isolation, gauges or meters, sampling, test points, access, calibration ownership, and evidence needed before equipment connection.
Coordinate Routing and Drainage
Resolve overhead or floor routes, supports, penetrations, hygiene, heat, condensation, access, drain capacity, and separation with local disciplines.
Control Supplier and Local-Designer Revisions
Track preliminary and final loads, issue dates, affected distribution calculations, and consequences of equipment or sequence changes.
Verify Utilities at Site Readiness
Test identity, location, service condition, cleanliness where applicable, safety controls, capacity, and documentation before commissioning use.
Buyer questions answered
Practical answers before you request a quotation
Why are total utility loads insufficient?
They do not define connection locations, conditions, peaks, quality, isolation, routing, or equipment-specific verification.
Who sizes the site distribution system?
Qualified local building-services and engineering professionals should use confirmed equipment inputs and site conditions.
When should utilities be tested?
Before commissioning use, according to the approved readiness and safety plan for each service.
06 Responsibility
Assign the owner before the work is due
Land, building and civil work, permits, import and customs, local taxes, site utilities, unloading, lifting, local labor, travel support and commissioning materials are not automatically included. Confirm every responsibility before order.
07 Common risks
What commonly creates avoidable uncertainty
- Aggregate totals hide point constraints
- Peak modes occur simultaneously without review
- Connection data changes after distribution release
08 Acceptance or completion
How to know the stage is complete
Approve when every equipment utility interface has a current value, condition, location, battery limit, and site verification method.
09 Required documents
Records that support the decision
- Point-of-use utility schedule
- Utility connection drawings
- Readiness test records
10 Next project step
Turn this decision into a reviewable project brief
Share the product, container, target output, destination and available site information. Unknown inputs can remain open for the first review.
Turnkey scope is project-specific and is defined by the signed technical and commercial agreement.
